Module 4 Overview

About Module 4

In module 4, we were given two readings, one titled CWNA: Certified Wireless Network Administrator Official Study Guide which gave an overview of Wireless Standards, and also the Foundations of Modern Networking, which talked about the Internet of Things architecture.

This module was in my opinion one of ones I felt I wanted more of, specifically because it gave a more summed up view of the two subjects of networking and the Internet of Things.

The selected assignments I chose to showcase from module 4 can be found by using the navigation menu to the left but before you do so, please read about why I chose them below.

• While there were only two assignments to choose from for this module, I felt the Wireless Reading to overall be more beneficial to my understanding of networking. I was able to learn a lot about topics such as the history of wireless networking and an in depth look at networking architecture. Overall, these are topics that I feel that are essential for CIS majors to know because it gives one perspective of where we were in the past, and how we have developed to form the network we have today, and the one we will have in the future.
