Assignments In Module 1

For module one, I complete the Application Layers, Application Protocols, and Network Media assignments. Each assignment can be viewed in detail by clicking its respective name on the navigation bars located on the left hand side of the page. Below, I will explain the assignments and why they were done, and what they taught me.

• Application Layers: For this assignment I looked into what the OSI and TCP layered models are and the layers associated with them.
• Application Protocol: For this assignment I looked into what the OSI and TCP layered models are as well as some of the protocols associated with these models. For this assignment I also learned about what Domain Name System (DNS) is and answered some questions concerning it.
• Network Media: For this assignment I looked into some aspects of networking such as the types of networks, cables, and terms as well as answered some questions concerning networking.
